ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP LONG TREK (NEPAL)

Possessing 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world, Nepal is a hotspot destination for mountaineers, rock climbers and people seeking adventures. A hub for the adventure lovers and home to Mt. Everest, the world’s tallest peak. Nepal is a Himalayan country sandwiched between India and China. The mighty snow-capped mountains here such as Annapurna, Mount Everest, Manaslu, and Kanchenjunga some of the best trekking trails in the world.
Some of the mountains seen from ABC are Tharpu Chuli (5663m), Singu Chuli (6501m), Hiunchuli (6441m), and South Annapurna (7219m). On the trail, you will see numerous chortens (Buddhist stone monuments), prayer flags, yaks grazing, bamboo and rhododendron forests, and the unique Tibetan style architecture of this region.
One of the main features of this trek is being exposed to the unique cultures of various villages and their enduring lifestyle high in the mountains, such as the Gurung, Tamang, Sherpa, Magar, and Thakali people. Many of these villages have age-old Buddhist an Hindu temples.
However, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek goes beyond this because it takes place in the central part of the sanctuary which is a well-preserved area, and this part of the sanctuary is always blessed with natural beauties that are not found in other parts of the world.

Day 1 – Arrive at Kathmandu Airport – transfer to hotel – Brief and preparation.

Day 2 – Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara – 8 hrs

Day 3 – Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Thikedunga (1552 m-5 hrs)

Day 4 – Trek from Thikedunga to Ghorepani (2800 m-7 hrs)

Day 5 – Trek from Ghorepani to Pun Hill (3200 m -1 hr) and trek to Tadapani (2647 m-5 hrs)

Day 6 – Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2177 m-6 hrs)

Day 7 – Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2600 m-6hrs)

Day 8 – Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3300 m-6 hrs)

Day 9 – Trek from Deurali to Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4200m-6 hrs)

Day 10 – Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo – 7 hrs

Day 11 – Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda – 6 hrs

Day 12 – Trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul (6 hours) and drive back to Pokhara (1.5 hrs)

Day 13 – Transfer from Pokhara to Kathmandu (8 hrs) day at leisure to explore

Day 14– Departure Transfer to Airport for onward journey

Trekking Grade
These are subject to individual fitness levels and could differ from person to person.

Grade 2 : Moderate
The trek duration each day may span from 4 – 5 hours, but on some days, it may push up to 8 – 9 daysIt is slightly challenging, uphill and downhill, walking close to mountain views and walking through the beautiful mountainous forests. The elevation from 2500m to 4000m is considered grade 2.
