EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK (NEPAL)

Possessing 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world, Nepal is a hotspot destination for mountaineers, rock climbers and people seeking adventures. A hub for the adventure-lovers and home to Mt. Everest, the world’s tallest peak, Nepal is a Himalayan country sandwiched between India and China. The mighty snow-capped mountains here such as Annapurna, Mount Everest, Manaslu, and Kanchenjunga some of the best trekking trails in the world.
Trekking to Everest Base Camp is a priority for nearly every visitor to Nepal. Located at the foot of Mt. Everest, reaching the base camp gives you a sense of rare satisfaction and adventure. This destination in eastern Nepal lies in Solukhumbu district at an altitude of 5,360 meters.
Crossover many high mountain passes and trek on the glaciers. Experience the warmth of the local Sherpa culture during the Everest base camp trek. Visit some scenic Monasteries. Day 1 – Arrive at Kathmandu airport-. Transfer to hotel -Briefing and preparation.

Day 2 – Flight from- Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m -35 min), then trek to Phakding (2652m-3 hrs)

Day 3 – Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3 440 m-7 hrs)

Day 4 – Acclimatization at Namche – Short Hike

Day 5 – Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860 m-7 hrs)

Day 6 – Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m-6 hrs)

Day 7 – Acclimatization at Dingboche – Short Hike

Day 8 – Trek from Dingboche to Thukla (4620 m-3 hrs)

Day 9 – Trek from Thukla to lobuche (4940 m-5 hrs)

Day 10 – Trek from lobuche to Gorakshep to Everest base camp return to Gorakshep (5364- 8 hrs)

Day 11 – Hike to Kala Pathar (5644m) trek to periche (4371 m-8 hrs)

Day 12 –Trek from Periche to Namche bazaar – 7 hrs

Day 13– Trek from Namche bazaar to lukla – 7 hrs

Day 14– Lukla to Kathmandu Flight –transfer to hotel

Day 15– Check out after breakfast transfer to Airport – onward journey

Trekking Grade
These are subject to individual fitness levels and could differ from person to person.

Grade 3 : Difficult
From an altitude of 4000m to 5550m is considered a strenuous trek or grade 3. Most of the trekking of Nepal is in grade 3. You need some previous trekking experiences and have decent physical fitness. Climbing and descending are very usual experiences for these types of trekking and you may have to cross small glaciers as well. This kind of trekking gives you an experience of a lifetime, has very beautiful walking surrounded by spectacular mountains
