ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK (NEPAL)

Everest, the world’s tallest peak. Nepal is a Himalayan country sandwiched between India and China. The mighty snow-capped mountains here such as Annapurna, Mount Everest, Manaslu, and Kanchenjunga some of the best trekking trails in the world.
The fabulous mountain scenery & the rich cultural diversity traverses across a wide spectrum of lush rural farmlands and pretty villages where we see the local womenfolk humming romantic tunes while on their daily chores & cows with vermilion splattered foreheads that seem to be smiling at you in a hearty welcome to their home turf, the trail heads towards a deep gorge that slices between 2 peaks.
This wonderful trek explores diverse ethnic groups and their interesting cultures, the local communities found here are Gurung, Magar, Thakali and we are warmly welcomed by these local tribes,blended with this is a glimpse of beautiful flora and fauna found in this area. Our sublime trek begins from the pretty village of Jhinu as we hike the trails via Birethanti, Bamboo & Deurali to reach Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 1 – Arrive at Kathmandu Airport – transfer to Pokhara (8 hrs)

Day 2 – Drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and hike towards Ghandruk (1940 -7hrs)

Day 3 – Trek to Sinuwa from Ghandruk (2360 m-7 hrs)

Day 4 – Trek to Deurali from Sinuwa (3230 m-7 hrs)

Day 5 – Trek to Annapurna Base Camp from Deurali via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (4130 m-7 hrs)

Day 6 – Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2340 m-7 hrs)

Day 7 – Trek to Jhinu Danda from Bamboo (1780 m-7 hrs)

Day 8 – Trek to Nayapul from Jhinu Danda (5 hrs) as well as a drive to Pokhara-7 hrs

Day 9 – Transfer from Pokhara to Kathmandu – day at leisure to explore

Day 10 – Transfer to Airport for onward journey

Trekking Grade
These are subject to individual fitness levels and could differ from person to person.

Grade 2 : Moderate
The trek duration each day may span from 4 – 5 hours, but on some days, it may push up to 8 – 9 daysIt is slightly challenging, uphill and downhill, walking close to mountain views and walking through the beautiful mountainous forests. The elevation from 2500m to 4000m is considered grade 2.
