Domestic Tours And Treks

  1. The terms and conditions contained hereinafter (“TERMS OF USE”) shall apply to the use of the domain name holidayadventure.in and any other linked pages, features, content or application services offered from time to time by Holiday Adventure or “WE” or “OUR” or “US”) (collectively, “WEBSITE”).
  2. The Services includes without limitation travel-related information, pricing availability and reservations for airlines, hotels, railway, holiday packages, adventure activities, bus and car rentals across cities and rural areas throughout India. Services shall include all those Services which Adventure and Nature will provide in future. Adventure and Nature is the facilitator of the Services only which are being offered and rendered by the third party vendors (“Service Providers”).
  3. User hereby consents, expresses and agrees that he has read and fully understands the terms and conditions of this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy of Tours ,Adventure as given in the Website without any change.
  4. The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
  5. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  6. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
  7. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
  8. It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind to be flexible. The day-to-day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes.
  9. Please understand that most of our trips are adventure trips, and such trips require flexibility. The day by day itinerary as shown in the website or in any of our promotional materials is taken as a guideline only. Local conditions may require a slight change – this will only be taken if absolutely necessary.
  10. Certain sightseeing and day tours may be subject to weather conditions or minimum number of pax’s before they operate and suppliers may cancel of postpone the date of the tour at short notice. Any changes shall be notified to you at the earliest opportunity
  11. Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
  12. We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
  13. It is your responsibility to obtain any visa required for international travel before you  undertake any trip booked with  Holiday Adventure
  14. Your health, and your ability to undergo the trip is your responsibility. We ask you to fill up a medical health form before a rigorous trek or expedition, but that is only for the information of the staff on the trek, so they are aware of issues, if any.
  15. A Liability Waiver form (in the case of undertaking an adventure trip) will need to be signed by you and you accept that you may be exposed to certain inherent dangers in any such adventure trip. Failure to sign the Liability Waiver form will preclude you from joining certain adventure trips. If you are below 18 years of age, your parent or guardian’s signature will be required.
  16. No refund will be entertained for those who leave the trip due to sickness, injury or any other reason.
  17. No refund will be given for any unused service.
  18. If Holiday Adventure decides to cancel a trip because of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, earthquake, strike, flood, riots, spread diseases etc, we will try our best to refund the full trip cost that has been paid to us. Often, we would have paid advances to other parties, and until we receive those advances back, it may be difficult to refund you the whole amount.
  19. Holiday Adventure will not be held responsible for any other trip related expenses such as booking of international flights, visa, insurance, vaccinations unless specifically stated otherwise. We are only liable for payments made to us.
  20. While travelling with Holiday Adventure you agree to accept the authority of the tour/Trek leader at all times. You are aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. You understand that Holiday Adventure reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.
  21. In the event, You fall ill or suffer an accident during the trip, all hospital expenses, doctor fees, repatriation expenses, evacuation from road or mountain, any other charges incurred as a direct or indirect result of Your illness / accident are Your responsibility.
Third Party

You acknowledge that Holiday Adventure contracts with a network of companies, government agencies and individuals to assist in the running of its tours. To the best of our knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are contracted to perform. However Holiday Adventure will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the behavior of these third parties.

General Terms & Conditions (International Tours)

  • We do not hold any rooms or other services for   mentioned package/offer, so rates are subject to availability at the time of booking. The above hotels rates are dynamic & will keep on changing until we hold it as per the final confirmation.
  • Nothing is on hold until & unless we provide it in the written confirmation.
  • WIFI , TEA/COFFEE facility & other amenities are subject to availability and cannot be guarantee in all hotels/ Rooms. Supplements may applicable if any.
  • For triple room requirement, 3rdperson bed might be roll away, extra bed or single extra bed, as it depends upon hotel policy.
  • Quotation is based on Base category / starting category of Room unless specified.
  • BABY COT is on additional cost depending upon Hotel policy, so it is never included.
  • Tourist/local/city taxes (if any) needs to be paid at the hotel directly by the client.
  • All   tours are on SIC unless specified otherwise  & all SIC Tours starts from some specific point located in the city centre. Client has to reach on their own to the point. Starting and Ending points might be different. Also for drop off some tour may or may not provide drop off (depending upon the tour).
  • All services, Hotels , Sightseeing, train tickets or any other services advised should be checked by you at your end. Once we received go ahead from you  it is considered that you have verified everything at your end.
  • International and Domestic flight tickets and Visas are not included in the package
  • All hotels should be checked by agent and confirmed by the client. If due to any reason the client does not like hotel and wants to upgrade it will be at an additional cost which will have to be borne by you..
  • A security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid directly by the guest to the hotel when checking in.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage to person or property in any manner whatsoever in connection with any travel the subject of this booking, and the customer specifically and unconditionally releases us from all claims in connection with or arising out of that travel. It is the express responsibility of the customer to obtain all travel insurances required in connection with their travel.
  • Cost of Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) equivalent to USD 10,000, No Porterage included, Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to the departure of your tour. Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us pay TV, mini-bar, telephone calls, etc. Meals other than what is mentioned in your Itinerary. Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides other than that mentioned in “Tour Cost Includes”, Overseas Mediclaim, Tips to Driver  per pax per day (Compulsory) Vouchers are not transferable and valid only for the services mentioned therein. Any services not specifically requested, confirmed and noted on vouchers will not be rendered. All extras to be paid directly to the hotels / the service providers.
  • VISA means a Certificate issued or a stamp marked (on the applicant’s passport) by the immigration authorities of a country to indicate that the applicant’s credentials have been verified and he or she has been granted permission to enter the country for a temporary stay within a specified period. (Note: The Company does not have any role to play for issuance / rejection of Visas other than being a facilitator).
  • Due to Weather conditons/Security Alerts /Public Holidays Like Christmas, Newyear,Easters etc , Certain Sight seeings could be cancelled on Last moment without prior Information
  • Medical Forms are mandatory for certain Tours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which may impact their ability to travel, participate in a Tour, travel to remote areas without access to medical facilities or may adversely affect the experience of others on your Tour.
Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by Holiday Adventure  that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation.  Holiday Adventure does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment.

Cancellation Policy for Land Package. ( Tours and treks ) not for short breaks

  • 10% cancellation charges if cancelled 45 days before the tour.
  • 25% cancellation charges if cancelled  30 days before the tour.
  • 45% cancellation charges if cancelled within a  20 days before the tour.
  • 70% cancellation charges if cancelled within a 10 days before the tour.
  • No refund for tour starting within 10 days of tour or after starting or middle of the tour.

Trekking Grades

   These are subject to individual fitness levels and could differ from person to person .

Treks are classified based on the following criteria:

  • Altitude gained every day of the trek
  • Highest altitude of the trek
  • Length of trek each day
  • Gradients during the trek
  • Nature of terrain (grass, even path, gravel, stones, boulders or slippery)
  • Temperature during the trek, snow/ice on the trail, camp site locations

Grade 1: Easy Trek
This includes the easiest trekking, no experience required and there is no difficult climbing or snowy walks. It is just village walking, discovering the lifestyles and culture of rural communities . You can see the panoramic views of mountains, exciting village life and does a beautiful jungle walk.
Usually the elevation goes up to 2500m above sea level is and is considered grade 1.

 Grade2: Moderate
The trek duration each day may span from 4 – 5 hours, but on some days, it may push up to 8 – 9 daysIt is slightly challenging, uphill and downhill, walking close to mountain views and walking through the beautiful mountainous forests. The elevation from 2500m to 4000m is considered grade 2.

Grade3: Strenuous
From an altitude of 4000m to 5550m is considered a strenuous trek or grade 3. Most of the trekking of Nepal is in grade 3. You need some previous trekking experiences and have decent physical fitness. Climbing and descending are very usual experiences for these types of trekking and you may have to cross small glaciers as well. This kind of trekking gives you an experience of a lifetime, has very beautiful walking surrounded by spectacular mountains. Above 4000m

Grade4:Challenging
Above 6100m, it is considered challenging trekking or grade 4. Often in frigid conditions, this type of trekking involves the expedition of high mountains and serious climbing skills. Climbing snowy mountains is very challenging and you require high functioning equipment, advanced mountaineering knowledge, physical fitness, and beautiful weather conditions. Nepal is one of the best places in the world for challenging treks and expeditions as we have 8 of the tallest ten mountains in the world.
