BHIRGU LAKE TREK (HIMACHAL)

Himachal Pradesh can be easily said to be one of the most beautiful states in incredible India. The stellar Himalayas dominate much of the state’s landscape that comprises of hills, plains, lakes, and rivers. Many of these valleys and mountainous stretches of Himachal are the most favored destinations for adventure treks and hikes.
Bhirgu Lake Trek is a high level alpine lake that is from Manali, Himachal Pradesh. It is just a three days hike from Manali. The best part of Bhirgu Lake Trek is that you get to climb the feet of 14,000 ft. When you start trekking, you start walking down the meadows within the first 10 minutes of the trek itself
It is said that thousand year ago, Maharishi Bhrig used to Meditate near this pristine lake & hence it is named after it. It keeps on changing its color every time & sometime it’s found frozen.
To top it all, because of the soaring height, the clouds will be floating around you.

Day 4 – Trek from Moridogu(3 hrs ) – Drive from Kulang – Manali – (45 mins)

Trekking Grade

These are subject to individual fitness levels and could differ from person to person.

Grade2: Moderate
The trek duration each day may span from 4 – 5 hours, but on some days, it may push up to 8 – 9 days It is slightly challenging, uphill and downhill, walking close to mountain views and walking through the beautiful mountainous forests. The elevation from 2500m to 4000m is considered grade 2.
